The PhD by PPGD-UERJ Carlos Peralta Montero receives the Tese Capes Prize. The thesis "Extrafiscalidade e meio ambiente: o tributo como instrumento de proteção ambiental. Reflexões sobre a tributação ambiental do Brasil e na Costa Rica" was guided by Professor Ricardo Lobo Torres and Professor Jane Reis Gonçalves Pereira.

The PhD by the PPGD-UERJ Letícia Martel Velho receives the Tese Capes Prize. The thesis entitled "Direitos fundamentais indisponíveis: limites e padrões do consentimento para a autolimitação de direito fundamental à vida" was directed by Professor Luís Roberto Barroso.
